Following last year’s great success there will be a Christmas raffle again in aid of the village hall. An excellent afternoon was enjoyed by many villagers and others on Saturday as our Scarecrow Festival took place. A walk round the village to view the scarecrows and put a name to them was followed by a welcome cream tea in the village hall. Well done to all involved for putting on a great afternoon.
