With Somerset moving into Tier 3 from Boxing Day it has been decided that the village hall will be closed from that date. This will continue following Lockdown 3.0 starting on 5th January. This position will be reviewed as and when there is a change in government guidance regarding village halls.

Due to Tier 2 restrictions, the village hall remains closed to new bookings until further notice (pending government review of the Tier structure).

A paper version of the online questionnaire will shortly be posted to every household in the Parish. Why? To ensure that those people without access to a computer or those of you who would rather complete the survey on paper can do so. Full instructions can be found on the front page of the questionnaire.

Please note the village hall will be closed during lockdown 2. We hope to re-open after 2nd December once lockdown has ended.

The Village Hall Committee has decided not to run bonfire night this year. The ongoing uncertainty over Covid-19, the difficulty of managing social distancing on a small playing field area and the concern over bonfire smoke have led us to the conclusion that we should not go ahead. The village hall has now reopened and will initially be available for a limited number of bookings/events to ensure compliance with Covid-19 regulations and guidance. If you wish to hire the hall please contact us here. All bookings taking place in the hall must be fully compliant with our Covid-19 secure requirements.
