The Village Hall Committee has decided not to run bonfire night this year. The ongoing uncertainty over Covid-19, the difficulty of managing social distancing on a small playing field area and the concern over bonfire smoke have led us to the conclusion that we should not go ahead. Other similar events have also taken the same decision. It is a shame as this is a popular event, but we feel it would be too high a risk and that it is best to make the decision now so people have plenty of notice. We look forward to being back with a bang in 2021.
