As we couldn’t hold our monthly village gathering/coffee morning on Saturday4th April, the 200 Club draw took place on Middle Street under the watchful eyes of Georgina Robertson, our independent witness (thank you Georgina). We will not be issuing cheques at this stage and will be in touch with the winners about payment by BACS. The next draw will be on Saturday 2nd May.
As recently announced, only shops selling food and essential items are allowed to remain open. However, some essential shops are choosing to close and some non-essential shops are offering a home delivery service. Please note that the situation is changing daily so it is recommended to check if the shop you want to visit is still open, or is open for restricted hours only. Dimmer recycling centre is now open for summer hours: Monday and Tuesday from 9am to 6pm and Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 4pm. Queues are expected, especially as there will be fewer unloading bays due to social distancing requirements.
